Meet the Team
Our team believes in the power of better training - we are passionate about the opportunity to transform the world of training by helping companies better prepare individuals for success in their first 90 days on the job.
Founder
Kaiz Alarakyia
Kaiz founded First90 after realizing that onboarding (especially in a virtual environment) was not serving its true purpose—to prepare employees for the challenging job ahead. His goal is to ensure every new employee has the opportunity to succeed in their new role and to help employers increase employee engagement, performance, and retention. Before First90, Kaiz served as a Product Manager at Google, led B2B Operations at Wealthsimple (a fintech startup), and led consulting projects as an Engagement Manager at McKinsey. Kaiz holds a Bachelor in Engineering Science (BESc) from Western University, a Bachelor of Arts (HBA) from Ivey Business School, and a Masters in Business Administration from Harvard Business School.
Marketing
Miriam Amdur
Miriam is a storyteller and efficiency-oriented product marketer. Before joining First90, she worked in marketing at Canada’s largest full-service restaurant company and in go-to-market planning at Adidas Group. In 2019, she co-founded Amdur Bicycles—a leading mediator of pre-owned high-end bicycles in the Toronto Area. Miriam holds an iBBA from the Schulich School of Business. As an avid believer in First90’s mission of ensuring employee training is as impactful as possible, she is thrilled to be able to expand the business’s reach and impact.
